This ring belonged to my greatgrandmother.
My grandma gave it to me a few weeks ago. I really should have taken before pictures. The diamond was missing, half of the setting was gone, and it was torn apart.

Something a little similar, but probably more interesting and informative. Repeats a little on the goldsmith thing, but the founding father’s fight against privet banking and national debt is really interesting! Its long, but worth a watch for sure.
A neat little history of how goldsmiths accidentally created modern banking. I had no idea my profession had stemmed such a thing.
